For $60, these speakers are a real deal. I can also run my ipod through them when I workout. The sound is great. Some of those little ipod docking speaker stations cost 3x the price for less sound quality.
The bass is excellent and the treble gives a really good balance. Bought these to replace an old set of computer speakers. I am not an audiophile but am very staisfied with the quality. Even when bass is low treble does not sound weak and thin. Use them sometimes on my TV to give real nice sound for movies or with workout dvds.
This is the 2nd time I purchased this sound system, the sound is awesome, and it is easy to set up.
Occasionally, I play action movies on the desktop and the sound is superior. I looked at two other brands and styles before purchasing this set. I shopped for 6 months before buying speakers for my iMac. The sound output is remarkable. I wanted to make sure I purchased a quality set with good sound, size and that the price was just right. These traits were important to me because I use my desktop all the time and I like to listen to a variety of music while I work. There's no static when I turn the volume up loud, the bass is great and the effortlessness of making the sound adjustments is by far nice. If you're looking for great quality and sound these are the speakers for you.
FOR A 2.1 SYSTEM, THESE SPEAKERS ARE EXCELLENT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE. VERY GOOD PRODUCT.
